# B. BALANCE NETWORK Services

This notice aims to inform you about the risks associated with BALANCE NETWORK Services. Each service comes with its distinct set of risks. This notice provides a general overview of the risks involved when using services. However, it does not encompass all risks or how they specifically pertain to your unique circumstances. It is crucial that you thoroughly comprehend the risks before deciding to utilize any of services.

# C. No Personal Advice

Please be aware that we do not offer explicitly or implicitly any kind of personalized advice regarding our products or services. While we may provide factual information, details about transaction procedures, and information concerning potential risks, the decision to use our products or services is entirely at your own. Any communication or information provided by us is not intended, nor should it be considered or construed as, investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or any other form of advice. It is your responsibility to determine whether an investment, investment strategy, or any related transaction aligns with your individual investment objectives, financial circumstances, and risk tolerance.

# D. Absence of Monitoring

BALANCE NETWORK does not act as your broker, intermediary, agent, or advisor, and does not possess a fiduciary relationship or obligation to you in relation to your use of BALANCE NETWORK services. We do not actively monitor whether your utilization of BALANCE NETWORK services aligns with your financial goals and objectives. It is your responsibility to assess whether your financial resources are sufficient for your financial activities with us and whether they align with your risk appetite in the products and services you engage with.

The taxation of Digital Assets remains uncertain, and you are responsible for determining your potential tax liabilities and their applicability when conducting transactions through BALANCE NETWORK services. It is your obligation to report and settle any taxes arising from transactions on BALANCE NETWORK services, as BALANCE NETWORK does not offer legal or tax advice related to these transactions. If you have concerns about your tax status or obligations when using BALANCE NETWORK services or in connection with the Digital Assets held in your BALANCE NETWORK account, we recommend seeking independent professional tax advices. Please note that BALANCE NETWORK may be required by applicable laws to report information about your transactions, transfers, distributions, or payments to tax or other public authorities and to withhold taxes as needed.

# F. Market Risks

Digital Asset trading involves substantial market risk and price volatility. Changes in value can be significant and can occur rapidly and unexpectedly. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. The value of an investment and potential returns can both decrease and increase and you may not recover your initial investment.

# G. Liquidity Risk

Digital Assets may have limited liquidity, making it challenging or even impossible for you to sell or exit a position as desired. This can occur at any time, including during periods of rapid price fluctuations.

# H. Fees & Charges

Please review our current fees and charges, as BALANCE NETWORK may, at its discretion, update these fees periodically. It's important to be aware of all applicable costs and charges, as they can impact your returns when using BALANCE NETWORK Services.

# I. Availability Risk

We cannot guarantee the continuous availability of BALANCE NETWORK services, as they may experience unplanned service outages or network congestion. This may prevent you from buying, selling, storing, transferring, sending, or receiving Digital Assets when you intend to do so.

# J. Third Party Risk

Third parties, such as payment providers, custodians, and banking partners, may play a role in providing BALANCE NETWORK services. You may be subject to the terms and conditions of these third parties, and BALANCE NETWORK may not be held responsible for any losses incurred due to actions by these third parties.

# K. Security Risk

BALANCE NETWORK cannot completely eliminate all security risks. You are responsible for safeguarding your BALANCE NETWORK Account password, and you may be liable for all transactions conducted under your BALANCE NETWORK Account, whether or not you authorized them. Transactions involving Digital Assets may be irreversible, and losses resulting from fraudulent or unauthorized transactions may not be recoverable.

Given the nature of Digital Assets and their underlying technologies, several inherent risks may arise, including but not limited to: (i) Faults, defects, hacks, exploits, errors, protocol failures, or unforeseen circumstances related to a Digital Asset or the technologies and economic systems it relies on. (ii) Irreversibility of transactions involving Digital Assets, which means losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions may not be recoverable. (iii) Technological advancements leading to the obsolescence of a Digital Asset. (iv) Delays causing transactions not to be settled on the scheduled delivery date. (v) Attacks on the protocol or technologies underpinning a Digital Asset, including but not limited to distributed denial of service, sybil attacks, phishing, social engineering, hacking, smurfing, malware, double spending, majority-mining, consensus-based, or other mining attacks, misinformation campaigns, forks, and spoofing.

# M. Monitoring Risks

Digital Asset markets operate 24/7, which means rapid price fluctuations can occur at any time, including outside regular business hours.

# N. Communication Risks

When communicating with us through electronic means, please be aware that electronic communications may fail, experience delays, lack security, or not reach their intended destination.

# O. Currency

Fluctuations in currency exchange rates can affect your gains and losses.

Changes in laws and regulations can significantly impact the value of Digital Assets, and these risks can be unpredictable and vary from one market to another.
